Family and Group Connections

Family and Group Connections is a unique opportunity for friends, families, individuals, and the foster community to come together and bond, relate, share, and learn new skills and techniques to build strong family and social connections, while bridging social gaps. Because of YOU we are connecting families through hair, nails, and skin care! These workshops are used largely in the foster care community.

Jr. Stylist Acedemy

Jr. Stylist Academy is a group workshop hosted for anyone age 10 years old to 17 years of age, who have an interest in becoming a future hair stylist. Jr. Stylist Academy’s workshop is hosted for four weeks. We cover hair control, haircare, hair manipulation and cosmetology technics. This workshop is hosted for any race or gender. Basic stylist care kit is provided per Jr. Stylist. Family and Group Connections.

One on One Connections

One on One connections is a one on one workshop. (Educator and Client) This is a hair, skin or nail care workshop. We instruct and equip individuals with the product, support and tools to preform an inquired service such as haircare, braiding, protection styles, proper skin care and make up application, healthy nail care, etc. This support is one on one from start to finish. (Clients Hands Only)

Self-First

Self-First is a program developed to help individuals be aware and make their best first, second and third impressions. Within the first three seconds someone has already developed an opinion of you based on your outer ward appearance.

Sister to Sister Connection

Bond With Your Sisters. Sister to Sister Connection is a mentoring group of young woman of all races, and background, that come together to share their stories and bond with each other. Most find out that they are not that different from others and that they are unique in a great way.
